Sony Ericsson JALOU is a sleek and glossy clamshell with a wide variety of features and benefits. First of all, the clamshell sports a 2.0 TFT internal screen with 256k colors display. However, the external screen holds a monochrome display only, with a screen size of 1.3 inches.

The clamshell is a light weight one, with a weight of 84 grams. MicroSD cards are supported to up to 8GB. This GSM flip handset is a 3G enabled phone with HSDPA feature of up to 3.6 mpbs. JALOU sports a 3.15 megapixel camera with geo-tagging and video calling features.

However, video recording is limited to up to 15 frames per second at a QVGA format. But the good news is that its video recording has a video light support. Battery time is remarkable with around 7 hours of talk-time on a single charge. However, standby time is 350 hours only.

Sony Ericsson’s SATIO is recongized as the most well known smartphone in India and the rest of the world. The IDOU is 3.5 inch TFT Touchscreen handset with a screen size of 360 x 640 pixels. Its display screen is bright and vigilant with 16 million colors.

The display also includes an accelerometer sensor for user interface rotation and has a built in proximity sensor for automatic on-off. SATIO’s internal memory is just 128MB, but can be increased with a microSD card to up to 32GB. 2 GIGS of memory card is supplied within the retail box. Moreover, the IDOU sports a 12 megapixel camera with features like auto-focus, xenon flash and a video LED flash light. Video recording is also available with a maximum output of WVGA at 30 frames per second.

With the help of 600Mhz ARM Cortex based processor and 256 MB of RAM, SATIO IDOU is ranked as the most powerful smartphone in the world.

G900 is the successor of the old G700. Now, the new G900 is available, with lots of exciting features and enhancements for daily tourists and travelers. The handset is same as G700, but has the 3G feature with Wi-Fi technology support. This touch resistive based screen phone holds a 5MP auto focus and LED based camera, with a digital zoom of up to 4X, including various photo and shot effects.

Video recording is VGA with 30 frames per second; the overall video recording was a disappointment due to its awkward video output display size. However, the handset is equipped with a great accelerometer support with touch proximity sensor and a stylus dongle support too.

Internal memory is 160MB, but can be expanded to up to 8GB (M2 Card Slot). The Smartphone sports an in-built MP3/MP4 player with hundreds of supported formats. Battery time is also up to the mark.

SONY ERICSSON G700 was released in the second half of 2008 and is still available in all leading mobile phone markets. The cell phone sports a 2.4 inch touch resistive screen with a full functional keypad, with a display size of 240 x 320 pixels.

The thin film transistor display of 256 thousand colors gives a perfect view of imaging and watching videos. Moreover, the handset includes features like a 3.5 mm jack for easy headphone support, Memory Stick Micro card support to up to 8GB, EDGE class 32, GPRS class 32, Bluetooth v2.0 with A2DP feature, USB 2.0 with microUSB support, Java MIDP 2.1 support and a pre-built WAP/HTML browser.

The handset is equipped with a fine 3.15MP auto focus and LED based camera with video recording features, with a QVGA resolution of around 15 frames per second. However, the handset lacks a Wi-Fi internet facility and the standard talk-time is a big shame for the big SONY ERICSSON Company.

Here comes the new Sony Ericsson J105 codenamed “NAITE”, which is a unique set of its own kind. This candy bar phone weighs just around 84g, which is remarkable for a feature rich candy bar phone. It dimensions are around 108 x 47 x 12.6 mm.

The handset looks a bit slim, when held in pocket. Moreover, with a network and data support of 2G, 3G, GPRS and EDGE; this phone is the jack of all trades. The display screen of this phone is around 2.2 inches, with a resolution of 240 x 320 (256k TFT Screen). The huge battery time is a plus point, with a talk time of up to 13.5 hrs on GSM; and a wonderful standby time is around 600 hours on GSM 2G network of 900/1800 bands.

This candy bar handset comes with a default 2MP camera, with a variety of photo effects and a digital zoom of up to 2X. The phone features a video recorder too, but it is just meant for MMS purposes.
